Company Pricing: Line discount
Route: /company/pricing/line-discount (sidebar: Company → Pricing → Line discount).
What this sub-page controls
Staff can apply a manual line discount at checkout when your rules allow it. Here you decide:
- Whether manual line discounts are enabled
- Which roles (owner, manager, employee) may use them
- Which product categories and/or specific products are in scope
Use the sticky Save bar at the bottom of the Pricing page (same as other pricing tabs).
Recommended setup flow
- Enable manual line discounts only if your checkout process needs ad-hoc reductions.
- Limit roles to managers (and owners) until staff are trained.
- Narrow scope to categories or products where discounts are allowed.
- Test in Buy & sale with a user in each allowed role.
Common mistakes
- Enabling discounts for all employees without category limits.
- Expecting named campaign discounts from the Discounts tab to apply automatically — those are separate presets.
- Forgetting to save after changing checkboxes (use Pricing Save).
